Dennis PaSamba Dance Company hosts regular social dances on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. We play a high-energy mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia all night long. While group courses require registration, our Friday socials are open for drop-ins so you can drop by and practice your new turns.

As an instructor, my favorite moment of the evening is watching the tension melt away from students' shoulders about ten minutes into class. People come in straight from long workdays, feeling a bit hesitant, but as soon as the Cumbia beat drops, the whole room comes alive.

We laugh a lot during class, especially when someone takes a wrong step or spins the wrong direction. That is all part of the process. My job isn't to make you look like a professional performing on a stage; it's to make sure you feel relaxed, connected to your partner, and ready to enjoy yourself at the next family party or weekend event.
