What couples and solo students ask us most before their first private lesson.
- How much does a private dance lesson cost in Chicago?
- A single 55-minute private lesson is $125 — the same price whether you come solo or as a couple. Bundles bring it down: 3 lessons for $360, 6 for $660, and 10 for $1,100.
- Do I need a partner for a private lesson?
- No. If you come alone, a professional instructor dances with you the entire lesson, so you still learn full lead-and-follow technique.
- How long is a private lesson?
- Every private lesson runs 55 minutes. Most students book once a week, but scheduling is flexible and can be arranged outside regular class hours.
- How many lessons do we need for our wedding first dance?
- Most couples are comfortable with 6 lessons for a polished, choreographed first dance. Three lessons is enough for a simple, confident sway, and 10 covers full choreography with dips and an entrance and exit.
- How do we schedule after we buy?
- Purchase online and a staff member will text, call, or email you to lock in the dates and times that fit your schedule.
- Which dances can we learn privately?
- Salsa, bachata, cumbia, kizomba, tango, swing and ballroom styles like waltz, foxtrot and rumba — plus custom wedding, quinceañera and date-night choreography.
