No partner needed — we rotate partners all class long. Missed a class? You have 4 weeks from your start date to make it up at no extra cost.
Bachata is where a huge share of Chicago dancers fall in love with Latin dancing. The basic step is forgiving, the music is everywhere, and the dance rewards connection over flashy moves. Our Level 1 course starts from zero: week one is the step and the timing, and by week four you're turning and dancing full songs.
Courses run in progressive 4-week cycles for $95, with free make-up classes within four weeks of your start date. No partner needed — we rotate all class long. Most students pair bachata with salsa; add a second style for $55.
Then come practice at our Friday social (1st & 3rd Friday, 7-11 pm) at 4820 W. Irving Park Rd. in Chicago — Bachata lesson at 7:50 pm, then open dancing until 11. An easy trip from Portage Park, Old Irving Park, Avondale and Logan Square.
