From the Bar to the Ballroom
Many of our students from Avondale come to us looking to improve their social dancing skills. Our 4-week progressive courses in Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia are designed specifically for social settings. We focus not just on the steps, but on the connection between partners and the ability to dance to any Latin rhythm. Starting at Level 1, you'll learn the foundations that will make you feel at home on any dance floor in Chicago.
We rotate partners in every class, which is a great way to meet people from all over the Northwest Side. It's a low-pressure social environment that is much more engaging than just sitting at a bar. Plus, you'll be getting a great workout without even realizing it. Our studio is open daily from 8 AM to 11 PM, so we can accommodate almost any schedule.
Special Events and Date Nights
Looking for a unique date idea near Avondale? Our date night packages are a popular choice for couples. You can book a private lesson to learn a style of your choice, or join one of our group classes for a fun, shared experience. We also host speed dating events for those looking to meet someone special through the shared joy of dance.
Our Friday Socials are another great option. On the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, we open our doors for a night of salsa, bachata, and more. The evening begins with a lesson at 7 PM, making it easy for beginners to join in the fun. It's the perfect way to start your weekend before heading back to the restaurants and lounges of Avondale.
