This is a single intro hour. The 4-week Salsa Level 1 session is separate and costs $95 if you decide to keep going.
What to Expect at Your Intro Class
Your free intro class is designed for absolute beginners. We will cover fundamental salsa steps. You will learn basic timing and rhythm. Our instructors make learning fun and easy. This class is a great way to experience salsa. See if our style of teaching fits you. There will be other new dancers just like you. No experience is required at all. Just bring your enthusiasm and comfortable shoes.
We focus on creating a friendly atmosphere. You will feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our goal is to introduce you to the joy of salsa dancing. This class is an introduction to the larger world of Latin dance. We will guide you through simple, easy-to-follow movements. You will be dancing in no time. This hour is all about trying something new. It's a chance to meet new people. Discover a new hobby. Prepare to move and smile.
Continuing Your Salsa Journey
If you enjoy the intro class, we offer a full Salsa Level 1 session. This is a 4-week program. It dives deeper into salsa fundamentals. You will learn more steps and turns. We build on the basics from week to week. Each session is designed for steady progress. No partner is needed for these group classes. We rotate partners during class. This helps everyone learn to lead and follow. It also helps you meet fellow students. The cost for a 4-week session is $95.
Our studio is located at 4820 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL 60641. We are in the Six Corners neighborhood. Irving Park is easily accessible. Free parking is available for our students. Group classes are for adults. If you miss a week in your 4-week session, you can make it up. We understand life happens. Just let us know. Please remember that sessions are non-refundable. Practice Your New Moves
Once you start learning salsa, practice is key. We host a Friday Social every week. This is an open practice session. It is a relaxed environment to try out what you've learned. It's a great place to dance and socialize. Our Friday Social is not a substitute for group classes. It is an opportunity to reinforce your skills. You can dance with different partners. This helps improve your leading and following. The atmosphere is always supportive. There are no instructors teaching during the social. It's purely for practice and fun. The cost to attend a Friday Social is $15. Join us to keep your salsa skills sharp. Meet other dancers from our community. Enjoy the music and the dance.

Can I bring a friend?
Yes, but each person should RSVP on their own.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Shoes should be comfortable and secure on your feet. Avoid flip-flops or heavy boots.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, our group classes and social events are for adults only. Participants should be 18 years or older.
