What makes our Friday evening Cumbia and Bachata social sessions right for you?
Friday nights are built for moving to great music. Our Chicago studio provides a friendly space to step onto the floor for Cumbia and Bachata. You can practice your rhythm, work on lead and follow connection, and meet neighbors who share your love for Latin dance.
You do not need to bring a partner to join our Friday evening Cumbia and Bachata studio sessions. In our studio, partners rotate constantly during instruction and social practice. This format helps everyone dance with different people, improving your flexibility and social skills on the floor.
Cumbia features energetic circular steps and infectious rhythms that keep your feet moving all night. Bachata offers smooth side-to-side footwork, gentle turns, and expressive hip movements. Mastering both Cumbia and Bachata during our Friday evening sessions gives you a versatile set of moves for any social dance event in Chicago.
Our regular group classes are priced at $95 for a 4-week series. Spending four consecutive Fridays with us gives you enough repetitive practice to build real muscle memory. It is an affordable way to stay active, learn two foundational dance styles, and build your confidence weekend after weekend.
The studio is conveniently situated at 4820 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL 60641 in the Six Corners area of Irving Park. Free parking is available right near the building, so you never have to worry about parking meters or long walks before your Friday evening session.
Whether you are taking your very first dance steps or refining your Cumbia and Bachata social moves, our studio atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging. We focus on clear instruction, plain breakdowns of the footwork, and creating a welcoming Friday night community.
