Why is our Friday Salsa Bachata Social perfect for all skill levels?
Our Friday Salsa Bachata Social is designed specifically to welcome everyone, regardless of prior dance experience. Beginners can practice basic timing and core steps, while experienced dancers can try out new combinations. You will find a friendly, supportive environment from the moment you walk through the door.
You do not need to bring a partner to join the fun at our studio. In our community, partners rotate regularly throughout group lessons and social dancing sessions. Rotating helps you adapt to different lead and follow styles, which builds your confidence much faster than practicing with only one person.
If you want to build a solid foundation before social dancing, our four-week group class series is available for $95. These structured sessions teach you essential Salsa and Bachata footwork, turns, and body movement. Learning in a group setting makes transitioning to the Friday night social smooth and stress-free.
We are conveniently located at 4820 W. Irving Park Rd. in Chicago, right in the heart of the Six Corners neighborhood in Irving Park. Attending an evening event is easy and convenient because we offer free parking for all of our guests.
Social dancing is one of the best ways to stay active, meet local friends, and enjoy vibrant Latin music. At Dennis PaSamba Dance Company, we focus on fun, proper technique, and clear instruction so you feel comfortable on the dance floor every Friday night.
Do not let nervousness hold you back from trying something new. Every experienced dancer started as a complete beginner. Come out this Friday, meet wonderful people, and discover how easy it is to start dancing Salsa and Bachata with us.
What happens at the Friday Social?
Our Friday Social starts with short, introductory lessons. You can learn basic steps in Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia. These lessons are great for beginners and also a nice warm-up for experienced dancers. Afterwards, the floor opens for practice, giving everyone a chance to dance. You can try out new moves, practice what you learned, and meet other dancers. It is a fun and relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
What is the cost for the Friday Social?
Admission to our Friday Social is $15. This includes the short lessons and open social dancing. It is a great value for a night of dancing and fun. Please note, this is separate from our 4-week group session. That session has its own structure and pricing. The $15 Friday Social is a pay-as-you-go event, perfect for a casual dance night.
