What to Expect in Your Private Lessons
Our studio provides a comfortable and private setting for your lessons. Each session is 55 minutes long, giving you ample time to learn, practice, and refine your steps without distractions. We encourage you to wear comfortable shoes that you might wear on your wedding day, especially for your final practice. This helps ensure a smooth transition from practice to performance.
During your lessons, we work closely with you to understand your musical choice and your desired style. Whether you envision a classic waltz, a romantic sway, or something with a bit more flair, we adapt our teaching to your preferences. The 3-lesson package builds a solid foundation, focusing on clear, repeatable movements that enhance your chosen song.
We break down each element of your dance into manageable parts, from the initial embrace to the final flourish. Our instructors provide clear, concise feedback and demonstrations, making it easy for you to pick up the steps. You'll gain not just a dance, but also confidence in moving together, which you can carry into future celebrations. Does it include a parent dance?
No. Choose the 6-lesson package if you need one.
What should we wear for our lessons?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. For shoes, start with something comfortable and consider bringing your wedding day shoes (or a similar pair) for the last lesson to practice.
Can we use our own music?
Absolutely! We encourage you to choose a song that is special to you. Please have your music ready for your first lesson so we can begin choreographing your dance.
