In every class, partners rotate continuously so everyone gets to dance with different people. Rotating helps you learn how to lead or follow distinct styles faster. It also creates a very welcoming and social atmosphere for singles and couples alike.
Bachata is a beautiful, smooth dance that is easy for beginners to start learning right away. In our group classes, we cover the fundamental footwork, timing, body movement, and lead-follow connections. You will learn clear step-by-step patterns that build your confidence each week. Our instructors keep lessons plain, friendly, and simple so you never feel overwhelmed on the dance floor.
After spending all day sitting at a desk or commuting on the train, group Bachata classes give you an active way to unwind. Dancing improves your posture, balance, and physical health while giving your brain a break from daily stress. Lincoln Square commuters love stopping by for an energetic hour of music and movement before heading home to relax for the night.
Group classes are an excellent way to connect with people from around the Northwest Side of Chicago. Because partners rotate throughout the class, you naturally chat and laugh with fellow dancers every few minutes.
