Keep it simple
We use one easy step and a gentle turn, set to a shortened version of the song. Ninety seconds is plenty. The DJ can fade it out and invite guests to join.

Not just fathers
The same lesson covers mother-son, mother-daughter, father-son, and the person walking you down the aisle, whether that is a grandparent, an uncle, a sibling or a friend.
The parent can come to one or two of the six lessons; the rest go to your first dance.
Questions people ask
Does the parent need to come to every lesson?
No. One or two visits is usually enough for a short parent dance.
