How the four weeks build
Each lesson stacks on the last. You start by moving side to side with the count, then learn to keep that rhythm while connected to a partner, and finish by adding a turn without losing the beat.
- Week 1: the side step and the tap
- Week 2: timing to real bachata songs
- Week 3: connection and frame
- Week 4: one turn, start to finish
Why one turn is enough
A single turn done on time feels better on the floor than five rushed ones. Students leave Level 1 able to dance a whole song with the basic and that one turn, which is what most social dancers actually use.
What to expect in Bachata Level 1
Our Level 1 Bachata class focuses on fundamental movements. You will learn the basic step and how to maintain rhythm. We emphasize clear, simple movements. This builds a strong foundation for your dancing.

Each class starts with a warm-up. We review previous material to ensure everyone feels comfortable. New concepts are introduced step-by-step. Our instructors provide individual feedback throughout the lesson. This helps you improve quickly. By the end, you will feel confident on the dance floor.
