How Do We Handle Weather Cancellations for Evening Classes?
We closely monitor local Chicago weather reports throughout the day whenever severe snow, ice, or dangerous storms are predicted. If driving becomes unsafe around Six Corners or the greater Irving Park area, we decide early. We aim to make cancellation calls at least two to three hours before evening classes begin. This gives you plenty of time to adjust your travel plans, stay warm, and avoid driving in hazardous conditions.
When an evening class is canceled due to bad weather, we notify all registered students immediately. We send text messages and emails directly to the contact information you provided during registration. You can also check our social media pages for real-time updates regarding studio closures. If you are ever unsure about class status on a snowy or stormy evening, simply text or call 717-PaSamba before heading out to 4820 W. Irving Park Rd.
You never lose your class credit when we cancel a session due to bad weather. Any paid class that gets canceled by the studio is automatically saved in your account. You can use that credit for a future makeup class without any hassle. We want to make sure you get the full value of your dance instruction without feeling pressured to travel on dangerous roads. Text 717-PaSamba for full details.
Scheduling a makeup session after a weather cancellation is straightforward. You can apply your saved credit toward any upcoming class that matches your skill level and schedule. Our studio offers options throughout the week, making it convenient to catch up on missed steps. Just reach out to our team via text or phone, and we will help you pick the best replacement evening class for your calendar.
If bad weather affects a private lesson, our cancellation policy remains friendly and flexible. We understand that severe ice or snow makes travel unpredictable across Chicago. Private lesson students can easily reschedule their session for another open time slot once the roads clear up. We work closely with you to find a convenient makeup time that fits both your schedule and your instructor's availability.
